Randy Staton, CRT RCP Director HME/Sleep
Randy joined Athens Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine in 2005 as the Director of the DME Department. Randy graduated from the University of South Florida in 1975 from the Respiratory Therapist Program in St. Petersburg, FL. He completed his clinical training at Tampa General Hospital from 1972-1975. He went on to become the Department Manager for Cardio and Pulmonary Services for Professional Medical Services and American Intermedical Resources from 1975-2005.
Jim Corley, RPSGT RST Clinical Manager HME/Sleep
Jim graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and spent several years pursuing a career in business. He began working as a Diagnostic Sleep Technician at Athens Regional Medical Center in 2004, and went on to successfully become a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT). For the past ten years, Jim has enjoyed helping patients through the process of diagnostic testing as well as therapeutic overnight sleep studies. Jim joined Athens Pulmonary DME in 2011.
Jordan Romero DME Tech
Jordan came to Athens, Georgia during the summer of 2007 to study at Piedmont College. By 2009, He had been accepted into the University of Georgia’s College of Education and The School of Nursing at Athens Technical College. Due to external circumstances, Jordan decided to take a hiatus from his studies and began working in the Emergency Department at St. Mary’s Hospital. In September of 2010, Jordan joined Athens Pulmonary as a Pulmonary Function Technician. Starting October of 2012, Jordan transferred to Athens Pulmonary DME/Sleep Department. He now serves as a DME Technician and looks forward to continuing his education in the field of Sleep Medicine. Jordan currently resides in Arnoldsville, Georgia with his beautiful wife and best friend, Jennifer.
