Nick Fox, MD


Dr. Fox joined Athens Pulmonary in 2019.  He is a University of Georgia and Medical College of Georgia alumnus. He and his wife moved to Portland, ME where they both completed their residencies.  He remained at Maine Medical Center as a Chief Resident and Junior Faculty member before moving back south to Charleston, SC.  There he completed his Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine,  & Pulmonary Medicine.  He has active privileges at Piedmont Athens Regional, St. Mary's Hospital, and Landmark Hospital in Athens.  His clinical interests include pulmonary hypertension, advanced bronchoscopy, interstitial lung disease, and critical care ultrasonography.  He is dedicated to medical education and enjoys working closely with medical students and residents.  Besides cheering on the Dawgs, he enjoys playing golf, Braves baseball, and spending time with his family.
