Tenzing Phanthok, MD
Dr. Phanthok joined Athens Pulmonary in 2021. She completed medical school at American University of the Caribbean, St Maarten and Internal Medicine Residency from AU/UGA Medical Partnership at St Mary’s Hospital, Athens GA. Subsequently, she graduated from Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta GA. She manages all general pulmonary diseases with special interest in smoking cessation, pleural disease, and lung cancer. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary diseases and will be sitting for Critical Care boards shortly. She has active privileges at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, Saint Mary’s Hospital, and Landmark Hospital of Athens. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking with her family.
